The Yorkeys Knob Residents Association will be holding a "Meet the Candidates" forum on Tuesday 17 March commencing at 7.30pm, at the Wattle Street Community Centre.
Current member Steve Wettenhall (Labor), Wendy Richardson (LNP Candidate) Sarah Isaacs(Greens Candidate) have all indicated that they will be attending.
The candidates will be given 15 minutes to speak which will be followed by 20 minutes of question time from the audience.
Refreshments will be served at the conclusion.
Come along and help me ask some hard questions.
For your information, for the convenience of residents, the Electoral Commission have set up polling booths at James Cook University, which means you are able to vote prior to the election from now up until Friday 20 March. The booths are open from 9am - 5pm and are located in the foyer of building A1, which is to the left of the "rock" which you will see when you drive into the campus.
