Our Opinion Isn't Private!

Today at 1pm, everyday far north Queenslanders will join the Union throng to have their say in relation to privatization.

You see people are sick of not being listened to from a local level to a federal level decisions are consistently been made with no consultation or input from those who put the pollies there.... THE PUBLIC.

After each election the pollie, whatever side of the fence they are, stand up and say different versions of "I have heard the people, and I am here to serve and make this a better place for the people, I will work with the people" etc etc..... Really did they hear us? because if they did, they seem to have memory issues that need to be address, because if you cant remember what you "heard" then maybe you shouldn’t be making the big decisions.

The protest today will be outside Desley Boyle's office on Spence Street, Cairns. The Brisbane Crew have decided to sell off Brisbane Ports, The Coal Rail (which will leave QLD Rail open for attack), there is talk of merging Ergon and Energex this also could be for privatization, and this is just to name a few. The justification for selling off public assets? In 1900 the QLD govt used to own a few butcher shops, oh and to get our triple A rating back.
